Our Story
Love is a song, sing it.
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
- “Shall I compare thee to a summer's day" by Shakespeare
Odite as a fashion collective presents to you a ballad that comforts the soul of every lover. Derived from the name of the Greek Goddess of Love, Desire and Beauty - Aphrodite, the brand weaves tales of soulmates, eternalizing them.
Our muse is every lover, everyone who realises that there is no higher power other than love. Our collections are a love letter, crafted with high quality artisanal craftsmanship with references to surface texture of fabrics and a focus on traditional techniques, creating degendered staples that embody divine love stories with delicate symbolic details.
Odite was founded in 2024, on the core beliefs of -
- Creating one of a kind, ethical, zero waste luxury garments and
- To flaunt traditional techniques and Indian craftsmanship and promote them globally to provide them a secure future.

Zero Waste Philosophy
Instead of throwing the responsibility of sustainability on the consumer, we have designed our own unique zero waste shirt patterns. Inspired by the Kalidaar Kurta (a traditional zero waste garment of South Asia) we have blended tradition and innovation to slow down climate change. Developing our own pattern for a zero waste shirt took us 8 months of research, development and sampling.
All garments are made to order, meaning production will start after receiving an order, this eliminates turning our unsold pieces into waste that ends up in landfills.

Responsible Luxury
Our idea of luxury is a blend of materials and hand work that masterfully creates each garment. To create responsibly the whole supply chain is taken into consideration. Ensuring that the decades long experienced hands that craft our garments get what they deserve, we work with small artisan studios in our vicinity to support and promote them. Instead of outsourcing manufacturing to far off factories where we don’t have control over the working environment of the artisans and craftsmen. We create our collections using locally sourced cotton fabrics, more over handwoven fabrics to support local weavers.
